sweet soy sauce beef ( daging masak kicap)

400 grams of boneless beef (thin-sliced or cut into small dice)
3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 / 2 large onion
2 inch ginger
1 large white onion
2 tbsp chilli paste (if you want to replace this with any slice chillies can)
1 cinnamon stick
2 star anise
1 / 2 cup water
a little oil for frying
1 / 2 large onion (roughly chopped)

Method
1. First blend the onion, garlic, ginger until well broken already (even if you want it to be sliced thin) Heat oil and saute the cinnamon and star anise, and bulk blended mixture and chilli paste, stir-fry until fragrant and slightly crispy.

2. Then add soy sauce and sweet dark soy sauce, then put in meat and 1 / 2 cup water, make sure the meat sink in, cook meat until tender and soysauce is just become thickens,  

adjust the taste, add salt and teaspoon of sugar, 
if meat is not tender yet, water can be added,  

3.Finally, add the onion roughly and stir until slightly wilted, and finally you can serve. good luck.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups of Short Grain Rice
  • 3 Sheets of Roasted Seaweed
  • 1 Carrot
  • Part of a Cucumber
  • 2 Eggs
  • 6 Small Crabsticks
  • 2 Green Onions
  • A little Sesame Oil/Sugar
1.cook the rice and before it is fully cooked,put just a little of  sesame oil.
2.if you want it be a little sweet,you can add a little bit sugar.
3.prepare the seaweed. leave the cooked rice cool little bit.
4.put the rice on the seaweed and press it. not too thick nor thin.
5.put the other ingredients,long sliced carrot,cucumber,crabstick,long sliced egg.green anion.
6.roll the rice and make it like a cylinder. leave it for several minute to allow the rice become sticky. so, it doesn't break when cut.
7.finally it can be cut and served. for a better taste, you can eat kimbab with sweet sauce.
